"I received your penholder today and it is a very beautiful piece of workmanship. It's unlike any of the other penholders I have. It's very graceful and simple. Other handmade penholders I've seen (and bought) tend to emulate 19th century table legs, with a series of functionless knobs, swells, and indentations. Yours, being simple, is more beautiful, about a third the weight, and feels very natural in the hand, and you can feel the wood instead of the shellac or polyurethane or whatever the others use.
