This helmet was made of two helmet halves that someone was discarding as beyond help. Reshaping it involved a sledge hammer. It is roughly 13th century in style, though its construction is certainly not period, being welded together from three sections. It is SCA legal, although a little crude. Really it was meant to be more functional than anything else. |
