I purchased this machine made WWII Japanese sword blade for a very good price at a flea market in Pennsylvania with no fittings at all. I and have since done a bit of careful re polishing (which is not a good idea, don't do that, but in my defense I was young and foolish at the time and it is a blade without a hamon). I have been building mountings for it and work is still in progress.
